No Longer in ACW or NWA Wisconsin
The old & tired story plays out yet again. Sam Hayne is gone from ACW. The difference this time is it is for good. The people in charge just have no idea what they are doing or where they are going. Things end for no reason. New things start up because they go out at night, have way to many adult beverages & then think something in their drunken state is a good idea.
Biggest problem is, this is no longer ACW. While you can reinvent things while keeping the same name, the current owner can't let the past go. It eats at him that he isn't doing as well as the original owners. He also has a big issue with people remembering him in his 1st role with ACW. Because of that, he goes way out of his way to act like this is some big business compnay that he is the king of. He likes to use terms like employ or fire when it comes to booking wrestlers. Biggest problem is, instead of finding a new direction & putting a new wrestler at the top as the face of the company, he worries about the past.
As it pertains to Hayne, one comment made was that Hayne didn't like they way he did things, it was HIS company & he was going to employ wrestlers who DO want to work for him. Well again. Never said didn't want to work for him. It just what do you want from Hayne? Did you just want Hayne to show up, do his match, take his money & go? I mean that is usually what happens & the guys don't care about the league. I mean if that is what you want & you want me to be like everyone else, fine say that. I mean, this bit of reality may be an anvil dropping on your head, but these guys who DO want to work for ACW, as he put it are1 of 2 kinds of wrestlers. Guys who have been around & just want to wrestle & get paid or 2- young guys who are willing to work for basically nothing just to be on a show. Problem is, neither of those 2 groups give a rat's ass if ACW last more then the current show. So since the owner who is also a PROMOTER, but doesn't promote the shows & the 99% of the people on the show don't care if ACW makes it through 2010, well that is how you see crowds of 30 fans or less.
So back to Hayne. Fans will no longer see Hayne in an ACW ring. There will be no comeback, I guess maybe an NWA Wisconsin ring because Hayne will still be in BCW which is an NWA Wisconsin affiliate, or there is also the chance someone like Ed Chuman could say Sam Hayne vs. The Sheik HAS to happen on an NWA Wisconsin show, but a full time member, no. There will also NEVER be one of their stupid ACW Hall Of Fame crapfests in the future of Sam Hayne. 1st of all there is no Hall Of Fame. The Hall Of Fame is a plaque they pay 10 cents for. 2nd, like I said, I could care a less if the current owner ever thinks I should be in or what vision of the past he has. So support local wrestling, but find other leagues, because ACW is far from good wrestling.
